SAVANNAH, Ga., May 24, 2012 – - Smiles filled the room as members of the West Broad Street YMCA’s first soccer league teams accepted awards and ribbons recognizing a successful season. For most of these kids it was the first time they had played soccer or an organized sport of any kind.
“This would not have been possible without some great community partners and volunteer coaches,” said Peter Doliber, executive director of the downtown YMCA.
“Seacrest Partners, Hunter Maclean, Trident Sustainability, Matt McCoy, Savannah Hilton Head Youth Soccer Association, and Coastal Georgia Soccer Association all contributed financially to the league,” stated Doliber.

In addition to its financial support, Seacrest staffer and soccer enthusiast Jessica Pedigo volunteered throughout the season to help coach the kids. |
